Jonny Quest “Attack of the Tree People” Jonny Poacher Production Cel (1965) - ID: mar23446

A production cel from the Hanna Barbera Studios animated series Jonny Quest. Featuring a great image of Jonny thwarting a poacher, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the episode entitled "Attack of the Tree People," which aired on January 21, 1965. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 5"x5.75", the cel is in very good condition with some paint stuck on the front of the cel around Jonny's collar, paint loss on Jonny's shirt, and minor line wear on the poacher’s hair. The cel has been paired with a color copy reproduction background for display purposes.
