Smurfs Aquarium Cage Production Background and Production Overlay (1983) - ID: mar23492

Featuring what appears to be a Smurf cage in Gargamel's lair, the hand-painted background and overlay were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears likely in an episode from 1983, based on the production numbers. Measuring 11"x14.25" overall, the piece is in very good condition with minor surface and edge wear due to age and handling.
