A production background from the Nickelodeon Studios animated series “The Ren and Stimpy Show” (1991-1996). Featuring the rooftop chimney where Stimpy attempts to hide from Ren and his friend, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The background is an actual piece of animation that was photographed and appears in the sixth episode of season five, titled “School Mates,” which aired on November 11, 1995.
