A production background from the Hanna Barbera Studios animated series “The Flintstone Comedy Hour” (1971-1972). Featuring a detailed rendering of a Bedrock school room, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season ten episode “Schleprock’s Cousin,” which aired on November 11, 1972. Measuring 10.5"x14" overall, the background is in very good condition with minor edge wear and paint wear in the globe image.
