A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Professor X running after his physical attributes are altered by the Savage Land, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season two episode "Whatever It Takes," which aired on November 6, 1993. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the painted cel image measuring 9.5"x12.25" including the blue mountain terrain, the cel is in very good condition with minor scratches, surface wear, light line fade, paint transfer on the surface of the cel near Professor X, and paper transfer on the reverse of the paint from studio storage. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for display purposes.
