A production cel from the Disney Studios animated classic "The Great Mouse Detective" (1986). Featuring a fabulous image of the devious Ratigan, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. Measuring 12.5"x15.5" overall, with the character image measuring 7.5"x8", the studio laminated cel is in very good condition with minimal edge wear, tape remnants on some of the edges, and minimal line fade. Included is a certificate of authenticity from the defunct Disneyana Walt Disney Collectibles Shop located on Main Street U.S.A. The cel has been paired with a color printed reproduction background for presentation purposes.
