An original production cel and matching drawing from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring a reminiscing flashback of Jean Grey as she disappears into the powers of the Phoenix, the hand-painted cel and graphite drawing were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season three episode "Savage Land, Strange Heart Part Two," which aired on September 17, 1994. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the painted image measuring 7.5"x10" and Jean measuring 3.75"x1.5", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear, slight line wear, and backing paper stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio use and storage. The drawing is in very good condition with minor edge and corner wear.
