A production cel from the Marvel Studios classic animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring a fantastic image of Gambit ready to throw two charged playing cards, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the sixth episode of season one, titled "Cold Vengeance," which aired on February 6, 1993. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 9.25"x10.25", the cel is in very good condition with light surface wear, minor line wear, and backing paper stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio use and storage. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
