X-Men New York City Skyline Production Background - ID: oct22016

An original production background from the Marvel Studios animated series, "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring a beautiful aerial view of New York City after dark, complete with the Statue of Liberty and the World Trade Center, the hand-painted and multi-layered background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the episode entitled, "A Rogue's Tale" which aired on January 4, 1994. Measuring 10.75"x26" overall, with the image itself measuring 10.5"x24.5", the background is in very good condition with some edge wear to the background and cel overlay from studio use and storage.
