An original production background from the Hanna Barbera Studios animated series Godzilla (1978-1979). Featuring a highly detailed rendering of an frozen tundra landscape with a small village atop an ice plateau, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the episode "Sub-Zero Terror". Measuring 10.5"x69" overall, with the character image measuring 9.5"x63", the panoramic background is in very good condition with the lower right corner torn off.
