An original concept painting from the Don Bluth Studios animated film Thumbelina (1994). Featuring a beautifully rendered image of a bejeweled sword in a tiny chapel with a rough image of Thumbelina standing on it, preparing to marry the mischievous Mole, the painting was created at the studio and used during the story development process. Don Bluth Productions uniquely used these concepts not only to develop the scene's color palette, style, and emotion, but also as storyboards to visualize the full story development. Measuring 7"x9.25", the artwork is in very good condition.
