The Little Mermaid Ariel Production Cel - ID: jul22526

A beautiful original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film The Little Mermaid (1989). Featuring Ariel laying on then ocean floor as she daydreams, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process of the iconic "Part of Your World" sequence. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. The studio prepared the cel by pairing it with a color copy reproduction background and additional cels of a fish and bubbles that are not from the same frame. Measuring 16.25"x21.75" framed with the mat opening measuring 9.25"x14.75", and with the painted image measuring 8"x7", the cel is in very good condition, unexamined out of frame.
