A prop skull used in the creation of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. This type of skull prop was used throughout the Cannibal Island sequence at the beginning of the film. The prop is composed of painted styrofoam with twine woven throughout the skull and has been intentionally distressed for use in the film. Measuring approximately 7.5"x8" and 15" tall atop its stake and custom display stand, the prop is in very good overall condition with intentional breaks and soiling from use, mostly visible at the entry points of the stake.
