An original multi-layer production cel setup from the Walt Disney Studios animated film Sleeping Beauty (1959). Featuring Briar Rose sitting with her woodland friends, the production cels were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece was originally prepared for sale at the Disneyland Art Corner. When prepared, the studio would pair cels that were usually from differing scenes and a visually appealing copy background. Each cel layer is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the movie. Measuring 12"x 14" matted with the mat opening measuring 8"x10" overall and with the character image measuring 6.5"x8", the production cel is in fine condition unexamined out of its original unopened Art Corner mat.
