An original production background and model cel setup from the Don Bluth Studios animated film The Secret of NIMH (1982). Featuring Teresa Brisby as she hides under the table while the house is shifting during the move, the hand-painted model cel was created at the studio and used by animators to ensure consistent character design. The cel has been paired with the matching hand-painted production background from the same scene, creating a rare setup. The background is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. The background measures 10.5"x13.5", the cel measures 10.5"x12.5", and the character image measures 2"x1.5". The setup is in very fine condition.
