An American Tail End Credits Background Concept - ID: marbluth21139

An original background color key concept from the Don Bluth Studios animated film An American Tail (1986). Featuring five separate panels with still imagery of people in the city, the concept was created at the studio and used during production. The imagery in this concept is the identical imagery used for the background artwork scene in the film's end credits. Don Bluth Productions uniquely used these concepts not only to develop the scene's color palette, style, and emotion, but also as storyboards to visualize the full story development. Measuring 6"x32.75" overall and with the image area measuring 4.25"x6", the background color key concept is in fine condition with minor edge wear from studio use and handling.
