Sword in the Stone Production Cel - ID: jansword21024

An original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film The Sword in the Stone (1963). Featuring Wart with his hands over his head, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the movie. The cel was originally prepared for sale as part of the Disneyland Art Corner program and at the time was paired with a cel of water rippling that is not from the scene. Measuring 10"x12" overall and with an image area measuring 7"x11" including the water ripples, the cel is in fine condition with the two cel layers stuck together and small staple holes at the center of the top edge from the Art Corner preparation. We have paired the setup with a color copy reproduction background.
