An original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film Bambi (1942). Featuring Faline, the production cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the movie. The studio originally prepared this setup decades ago for sale at the Courvoisier Galleries, including the character being trimmed to image and applied to a custom airbrushed background. Measuring 13.5"x12.5" framed, and with the character image measuring 4.5"x4", the production cel is in very good condition with some curling to the cel and lifting away from the background.
