A rare Eleanore Welborn keepsake box featuring Tinker Bell at Disneyland. Welborn was one of the first suppliers that Walt Disney chose to make souvenirs for the park when it opened in 1955. Welborn specialized in ceramics that were custom made at her studio in Monterey, California. Her work for Disneyland is highly sought after by collectors. The box measures 3"x3"x1.5" and has hand-painted gold trim. A tag for the Ruggles China Shop on Main Street (1955-1964) is still attached to the bottom. In excellent condition with light wear from age.
