An original background development painting from the Hanna Barbera animated series, "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!" (1969-1970). Featuring a gorgeous interior of a boat, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The painting is very similar to the actual background used in the episode "A Clue for Scooby Doo," and was created by renowned artist and animation painter Paul Julian. Julian worked on such Hanna Barbera creations as Jonny Quest, A Man Called Flintstone, Space Ghost, and Valley of the Dinosaurs. Measuring 6"x14" overall, the background painting is in very good condition with minor handling wear and pin holes in the corners due to studio use.
