An incredibly rare original production cel and background setup from the Walt Disney Studios live action and animated film Mary Poppins (1964). Featuring a group of dancing Penguins, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The penguin cel is paired with a cel overlay of the tree leaves, a cut out photograph of Bert (played by Dick Van Dyke) dancing with them, and a marvelous pastel background.from the film. Measuring 18"x22.5" framed, with a mat opening of 9.5"x14", and a penguin character image measuring 2"x8", the setup is in very good condition, unexamined out of frame, with some paint wear to the overlay of the leaves.
