An original production background from the Disney Studios animated Goofy short, "A Knight for a Day" (1946). Featuring a stunning rendering of a medieval colosseum with a large crowd of people, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. Measuring 10"x12" overall, with the image itself measuring 8.5"x11", the background is in very good condition with minor page discoloration and edge wear due to age and handling.
