This is an original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios production Sleeping Beauty (1959). This hand-painted cel features Briar Rose with her basket in hand and two birds to her side. It was created at the studio and used during production, representing an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. The cel was originally prepared for sale at the Disneyland Art Corner and is still paired with the original copy reproduction background. The overall measurements of the piece are 10" x 11.5" and the image itself measures 6.25" x 4.5". The production cel is in very good condition with the cel trimmed as it was originally prepared for release through the Disneyland Art Corner.
