This is a rare hand-painted production background with a hand-painted recreated presentation cel of Cri-Kee created from an original animation drawing from the Walt Disney production Mulan (1998). The hand-painted cel was created specifically by the studio to pair with background for sale at the Sotheby's The Art of Mulan auction in 1999. The overall measurement of the cel is 12.5" x 16.5" with the image itself measuring of 6.5" x 3.5". The cel bears a Disney seal in the lower right corner. This piece is in very good condition with minimal handling wear. This film was computer animated, so hand-painted cels were not created for the production of the film, which is why the studio would create a custom cel for this setup.
