This is an original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios production . This hand-painted cel features Jiminy Cricket in his tattered tramp attire from the beginning of the film. It was created at the studio and used during production, representing an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. The overall measurements of the piece are 17.5" x 17" framed with the mat opening measuring 5" x 5.25" and the image itself measures 3.75" x 3". The cel was originally prepared for sale for Courvoisier Galleries and is in very good condition. The is trimmed to image and applied to an airbrushed reproduction background, as was common for Courvoisier prepared artwork.
