"They say if you dream a thing more than once, it’s sure to come true." This is an original concept painting from the Walt Disney Studios production Sleeping Beauty (1959). This hand-painted design features Sleeping Beauty Castle on the mountain top as seen through a clearing in the woods. This painting was created by Disney Legend Eyvind Earle, and it is a stunning example of how his artistic vision became the basis for the classic feature. It was created at the studio and used during the film's development, in order to develop the color pallette and overall feel of the environment. The overall measurements of the piece are and the image takes up the entire board. The painting has been hand-signed by the artist in the lower right corner and is accomplished with paints on illustration board. The concept is in very good condition with pin holes in the corners from studio use.
