This is a set of 6 original concept paintings from the Walt Disney Studios production Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Boom (1953). This set features six Eyvind Earle hand-painted images depicting Penelope Pinfeather with her book, Suzy Sparrow with a trumpet, a drumming bird, and samples of percussion, string, and woodwind instruments. These were created at the studio and used during the development to develop the character design, environment, and color palettes of the film. These smaller concepts are created early in the development process to get general ideas which upon approval are further developed as larger concept paintings. The overall measurements of each piece are about 2" x 2.5" and the imagery takes up the entirety of each small board. The paintings in excellent condition.
