This is a set of 5 original drawings and signatures from Matt Groening. Groening is the legendary creator of Fox Studios' animated series Simpsons, The (1987-present). This set of drawings features the five main family members from the show, Homer Simpson, Marge Simpson, Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson, and Maggie Simpson. The drawings were done for a fan at different times in the 2000s, and the fan then framed them all together. The frame job also features an image of the family on their iconic couch, intricately cut from mat board. The overall measurements of the piece are 35.5" x 27.25" framed with the mat openings measuring 9" x 7" and 6.5" x 6" and the images measure 3.75" x 2.5" for Homer, 7.5" x 4" for Marge, 4.5" x 3.5" for Bart, 4" x 2.5" for Lisa, and 4.25" x 4" for Maggie. The drawings are all in very good condition, unexamined out of frame, and some have been PSA authenticated. The frame looks great, but the upper corners are damaged and not well connect to the sides of the modeling.
