This is an original cel featuring imagery from the Walt Disney Studios animated feature Song of the South (1946). This hand-painted cel was created in 1986 and features Brer Bear, Brer Fox, and Brer Rabbit and was created at the studio in the development of a hand-painted limited edition. This image was released as a limited edition, but this particular cel was not numbered and released as part of the series. It was likely painted as a test cel to verify the colors and imagery for the final edition that was released to the public. The overall measurements of the piece are 12" x 16"" and the image itself measures 6.5" x 9.5".
