This is an original concept drawing from the Walt Disney Studios production of Lady and the Tramp (1955). This hand-drawn concept features a very detailed and evocative image of Aunt Sarah as she mistakenly gets Lady muzzled to protect her Siamese cats, and was created at the studio and used during the production of the film. This piece was created in gouache and pastel on artist's board by Disney Legend Joe Grant, who was the creative mind who conceptualized the film's story based on his own dog. The overall measurements of the piece are 9.25" x 12" and the image itself measures 8.5" x 10". The piece is in excellent condition with pin holes in the corners from studio use.
