This is an original hand-apinted cel and background image from a Walt Disney Studios production of a Pocahontas themed piece of merchandise. This gorgeous set-up features Pocahontas herself in front of a gorgeous green background and was created at the studio and used during product development. The background has the appearance of a preliminary background from the film's production, but we are unable to confirm this and the piece came from a collection of art that was developed for consumer merchandise. The overall measurements of the piece are 12.5" x 17" and the image itself measures 10.5" x 15". The piece is in good condition overall, with the cel stuck to the background, and a little paint damage in the necklace due to sticking to the background.
