A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios short films with Donald Duck (c.1940s/1950s). Featuring regular standard poses for Donald Duck, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Model sheets were printed at the studio and distributed to the animators to ensure consistent character design. Standards were used by animators for use during multiple productions during the time period. Measuring 14”x17” overall, with the character image measuring 13”x12.75”, the model sheet is in fair condition with minor discoloration, heavy edge wear, staple holes, pin holes, punctures, notable staining along the right side, heavy folded creases throughout, tears along the fold lines, and edge tears and rips.
