A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios short films with Donald Duck (c.1940s/1950s). Featuring the studio’s standard designs for Donald Duck, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Model sheets were printed at the studio and distributed to the animators to ensure consistent character design. These standards were used by animators on multiple short films. Measuring 11”x14” overall, with the character image measuring 8.5”x13”, the model sheet is in very good condition with light discoloration, minor edge wear, staple holes, small edge tears, and minor handling wear.
