A model cel from the Disney Studios animated film "Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree" (1966). Featuring an adorable image of a honey stuffed Pooh stuck in the entrance to Rabbit's house, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Model cels are created during production in the same manner as screen shot production cels, but are used for reference by the animators and ink and paint department to ensure consistent character design and color usage for characters in a production. Measuring 12.5"x16" overall, with the character image measuring 3.25"x2", the cel is in very good condition with a crease along the left side, adhesive residue along the bottom edge, black line fade, and minor paint wear.
