An original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film Pete's Dragon (1977). Featuring a darker-toned image of Elliot when he is inside the cave, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the movie. Measuring 18.5"x22.5" framed, with a mat opening of 10"x14" and the character image area measuring 10"x12.5", the production cel is in fine condition, unexamined out of frame, with very light rippling to the cel and some scratches in the frame and plexiglass.
