An original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film Mickey's Christmas Carol (1983). Featuring Ebenezer Scrooge as he surprises Bob Cratchit on Christmas morning, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the movie, although the studio created this setup with two cels that depict charcater imagery that is not key to each other. Measuring 12.5"x16" overall, and with the image area measuring 8.5"x12.25", the cel is in very good condition with professional restoration including hand-inked line work to repair lamination damage. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background.
