A production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film “Mickey's Christmas Carol” (1983). Featuring Jiminy Cricket in his role as the Ghost of Christmas Past, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. The cel was released by the studio’s art program in the 1980s and was laminated and paired with a reproduction of the background line work overlay at that time. Measuring 12.25”x15.5”overall, with the character image measuring 3.75”x3.25”, the cel is in very good condition with both layers stapled together at top left corner, minor surface wear, and small areas of lamination marks.
