This is an original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios production of The Fox and the Hound (1981). This hand-painted cel features a young puppy Copper trying to encourage Chief to be more active, and was created at the studio and used during the production of the film, representing an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. The overall measurements of the piece are 18" x 22" framed with the mat opening measuring 9.5" x 13.5" and the image itself measures 4" x 10.5". The cel is in excellent condition, unexamined out of frame.
