“The Fox and the Hound” Vixey Production Cel (1981) - ID: jul26157

A production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film "The Fox and the Hound" (1981). Featuring a lovely pose of joyful Vixey, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. Measuring 16.25”x20.25” framed with mat opening measuring 10”x13.75”, and the character image measuring 5.5”x8”, the cel is in very good condition, unexamined outside of the frame. The piece appears to have been laminated at the studio for distribution and exhibits light discoloration, line fade, and minor wear to the frame overall with scratches on the plexi surface.
