A production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film "The Fox and the Hound" (1981). Featuring Copper protecting Tod from Amos Slade, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. Measuring 16.75”x19.5” framed with mat opening measuring 8”x10.75”, and the character image measuring 4”x10.75”, the cel is in very good condition, unexamined outside of the frame. The cels appear to have been laminated by the studio for distribution and exhibits slight line fade, it’s paired with a color printed reproduction background, and there’s minor wear to frame itself.
