A production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film "The Fox and the Hound" (1981). Featuring Chief going after Tod, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. Measuring 12.5”x15.5” overall, with the character image measuring 6.75”x10”, the cel is in fair condition with studio lamination from distribution, possible vinegar syndrome caused by lamination deterioration, rippling throughout, minor line fade on Tod, with color deterioration, white bubbly discoloration around Tod, and it’s presented in a paper mat.
