A unique development background for a film adaptation of “The Young Visiters.” Featuring an illustration of an aristocratic man looking at a piece of paper, the image was rendered for a project by renowned background artist Paul Julian. Julian is most known for his work on the the Looney Toons cartoons, primarily the Road Runner. The multilayered cel and background was acquired in a collection labeled "The Young Visitors," with documentation including character names and dialogue. We have little information on the project but assume that the background was part of that production. Measuring 10.5"x27.5" overall, with the character image measuring 9.5"x19", the background is in good condition with pin holes in the corners, tape and minor wear due to studio use.
