An original production cel and background setup from the Marvel/Sunbow animated series "JEM and the Holograms" (1985-1988). Featuring an image of Jem and the holograms bombarded by reporters after arriving by helicopter, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the episode titled "Broadway Magic" which aired on October 4, 1986. Measuring 10"x14" overall, with the cel measuring 9"x10.5", and the character image measuring 8"x12", the setup is in very good condition with the cels and background adhered to each other due to paint transfer, staples along the top edge, and tape along the bottom edge.
