A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Wolverine, Rogue, and Jean Grey just as they fall through a trap door, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and is seen at about 12:03 in the season two episode "X-Ternally Yours." All three layers are from the same scene but they do not match each other precisely. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 7.5”x11.5", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear, light line fade, and paper stuck to the reverse from production use and storage. The cel has been paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
