A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Gambit and Wolverine swinging down from the Blackbird in order to help calm the mob surrounding Bishop, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season two episode "Time Fugitives, Part II," which aired on December 11, 1993. Measuring 12.5"x10.5" overall, with the character image measuring 9.75"x6.5", the cel is in very good condition with minor scratches, surface wear, light line fade, and paper backing stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio use and storage. The cel has been paired with a color copy reproduction background for display purposes.
