A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series “X-Men” (1992-1997). Featuring Beast and Wolverine on the space shuttle, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and is seen at about 10:58 in the season three episode "The Phoenix Saga, Part 1: Sacrifice." The two cel layers are from the same scene but do not match precisely. Measuring 10.5”x12.5” overall, with the character image measuring 7.5”x12”, the multi layer cel setup is in very good condition with minor surface wear, light black line fade, and paper transfer to the reverse of the cel. The cel is paired with a color printed reproduction background for presentation purposes.
