A multi cel setup from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Blob, Storm, Mystique, Jubilee, and Gambit after defeating the Slave Island guards, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and is seen at about 17:00 in the season one episode "Slave Island." The setup is comprised of five cel layers from the same scene that never appear all at the same time on screen. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 8.25"x10.25", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear, light line fade, and paper stuck to the reverse from production use and storage. The cel has been paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
