A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring a great full body image of Guardian, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Canada's polite and powerful Alpha Flight only make an appearance in one episode of the series. Guardian is also known as Vindicator or Weapon Alpha. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season two episode "Repo Man," which aired on November 20, 1993. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 6.5"x3.25", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear, slight line wear, and backing paper stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio use and storage. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
