A matching multi-layer production cel and background setup from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring a great shot of Magneto as he discusses the future of the X-Men with Jean, Cyclops, and Wolverine, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. Both pieces create an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the series finale, "Graduation Day," which aired on September 20, 1997. Measuring 10.5"x13" overall, with the character image measuring 6.25"x10.5", the pieces are in very good condition. The cel displays minor scratches, surface wear, light line fade, and paper transfer to the reverse of the cel's paint from storage. The background exhibits paint transfer on the surface from a cel that was removed, slight damage from being stuck to the cel, and minimal edge and corner wear.
