A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Magneto as he attempts to capture Psylocke, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season four episode "Beyond Good and Evil, Part II: Promise of Apocalypse," which aired on November 11, 1995. Measuring 9"x10.5" overall, with the character image measuring 3.75"x5.5", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear, including scratches, light black line fade, a slight area of adhesive residue forming a "square" around Magneto, and paper transfer to the reverse of the paint from storage and studio use. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for presentation purposes.
